"Last quilt for the year at FNSI."

Hello,

I only did about 20 minutes worth of sewing on Friday evening. I had sewn on the binding and pinned it over to hand sew. Then I looked for some matching thread. I didn't have any. Why oh why didn't I think about this yesterday. So a quick trip to the patchwork shop this morning.

I completed it this afternoon. This quilt is for Lucy. A 18th Birthday present, a little late but it will be ready on her bed when she gets back from staying a few days with her brother David.

The quilt is quite big and measures 57.5 inches wide and 88.5 inches long.

This photo shows the quilting. With the plain coloured fabric it could easily be reversible. It was great to have Friday-Night-Sew-In to finish this project.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Happy days.
