"Livin' the Dream."

Hello,

I joined in Friday Night with Friends yesterday finishing of a cushion cover I had started earlier on in the week.

This cushion cover was made for Lucy a Kombi lover.

I used a combination of applique and machine embroidery.

The pattern for the Kombi  applique is from  fabric designer Tula Pink.  The embroidered flowers are from the "Garden Grannie" Cactus Punch embroidery CD and the wording was done by my machine. I used two different bright orange fabrics for the back of the cushion cover.

Happy days.

  3. A wonderful gift for a Kombi lover, Bev! My niece loves them too and I have some Kombi fabric (furnishing weight cotton) that I found in Lincraft, to make something for her :-)

  7. Cute!
Here in Germany we call this German VW Bus a "Bulli".
It is so trendy. They tell that a lot of babys were made in it :-)) many years ago.

    You made a wonderful gift.

    Greetings from Iris
