"Makes Me Happy Monday."

Hello,

It is making a comeback... Makes Me Happy Monday.

With this glorious 22 degree day and the sun shining and all is right with the world its time to share what is making Me Happy this Monday.

We have been consuming so much home grown veg over Winter. Have about half a dozen more Cauliflowers to eat. The bonus is the veg is completely organic.

The Peas have ripened and the pods are full. Unlike a few weeks ago I picked a heap of them without testing to see if the Peas were big enough, mini Peas taste just as good as normal size Peas!

The Dutch Iris are opening up and blooming. I love these bulbs, they are just so reliable.

A few pots of Grape Hyacinths (Muscari) are also blooming. I have never re-potted these so maybe this year they will get some new soil.

I would love to hear what is growing in your garden and what is making you Happy this Monday.

Happy days.
Bev C

  1. Hi Bev, your cauliflower looks so delicious. What great bounty from your garden. Not warm enough for us yet. Getting there. Love those irises, I have some brand new ones starting to grow. I'm looking forward to seeing them flower. Hugs across the ditch. .

  6. Gosh Bev your garden & your veges & iris's are sooo much further along than mine are .... must be quite a bit colder here I think. Everything is coming to life & looking wonderful in your garden.

  7. Your Spring is obviously a little more advanced than ours. But I'm happy watching parts of the garden wake up after their winter sleep - new leaves, blossom, or even just swelling buds that show the plant is still alive. It brings me joy.
