"Chook" Quilt.

Hello,

Way back at the start of the year I made myself a list of projects and things that needed  to be finished and in some cases started. Well I have finished one of them!!!! I started this quilt about 5 years ago and had it all completed. For some reason I even had some of the buttons sewn on before I quilted it.

I purchased the pattern from a quilt shop in Dunsborough while on holidays. I think the shop has since closed or moved because it wasn't there when we last went down south for a holiday. I did some basic quilting on it as I didn't want to quilt it to death. It is more snuggly this way. How are you going with your unfinished projects?

Have a wonderful weekend.

Happy days.
Bev C

The quilt looks great. Slowly plowing my way through UFO's & trying hard not to start new ones but that is so difficult but at least all the new things started this year aren't in the UFO box as they were for swaps & presents. :)

I'm deciding which of the many UFO's to work on next.

I love your 'chooky' quilt. Well done! I have a couple of those UFO's too but they keep getting pushed further to the back of the cupboard.

Love your chook quilt Bev - isn't it funny how almost finished items can sit there for so long. I think this one was waiting until you had chooks of your own :-)

Congatz on your finished quilt. It's a great feeling to polish off one that's been waiting a while. Maybe it will go with your blue Chookie.

Hi Bev,
What an adorable quilt. Congrats on finishing one of your unfinished projects. I think I need to start a list of "UFP" too. Maybe then my craft closet will clear out.
Weather here is humid and warm and this weekend is the big move for our Daughter. :(
Have a good weekend.

Yay for a finish! I love this one. So fun to look at all the different chicks and roosters here. Looks like a lot of work, so I bet it feels great to have this one done.

Well done Bev great finish.
I agree that too much quilting makes them stiff.
I can't seem to get my mojo back since I been away.
