"Australia Day Giveaway."

Hello,

Happy Australia Day everyone.  I hope you have a great day doing all things Aussie whether it is a BBQ or a swim at the beach. Maybe you will be attending your town's Community breakfast. Whatever you do have fun and stay in the shade. We are in the middle of a heatwave here in West Australia. I think we have another week of 40 degrees celsius and above.

I have decided to celebrate the day with a small giveaway. Of course it had to be Australian Made and Owned. We had to go to Perth yesterday and I had a look in Spotlight for something that fitted this. It was impossible to find much that was made in Australia. So I am not giving away craft items. I called into the Pharmacy in town and picked up some lovely Hand Cream and Soap for the giveaway.

So please leave a comment on this post. Your comment must have the words Australia in it at least 2 times.
I will draw the winner on Monday 30th January at midday West Australian time. Everyone is welcome to enter and I am willing to post anywhere.

Happy Australia Day.
Bev C

Australia, the land of parched earth and warm people with ready smiles. I am lucky enough to be visiting Tasmania, that little spot off Australia main land, in March - can't wait.
Cheers on the opportunity to win.

Bless you, Bev. You have the Australia Day spirit. As a child I always thought the Australia Day holiday existed to celebrate my birthday! My best friend's birthday was on St Paddy's day, so the whole concept made sense to us. Hope you are having a lovely day.

Happy Australia Day, Bev. It was a lovely surprise during my blog hopping to find someone else from Western Australia. This heat wave is an absolute stinker, isn't it? I'm watching the cricket....and cheering on Australia. It's hard to find anything made in Australia at Spotlight, isn't it? A couple of Australian made crafty bits and pieces did find their way home with me from Carols and Handcrafters House the other day, though....and a little something from Quintessential Quilts recently, too. I don't know if it is a good or bad thing to live about halfway between those shops. lol Here's to keeping cool on Australia Day. I'm enjoying reading through your posts. Your Jack on Six quilt really has the wow factor!

Happy Australia (one) Day to you too!!! And yes... it is a bit of a heat wave here isn't it. I'm sitting on the couch with bad pool hair in my bathers/swimmers/cossie watching the cricket and tennis listening to Triple J's hottest 100. Ah a glorious Australia (two) day indeed.
Thanks so much for the uber cool giveaway. All Australian. You beaut.

Happy Australia Day to you too Bev. We spent Australia Day at the beach. We went to Sorrento back beach and the boys had the time of their lives in the waves. I, of course, sat and sewed! I hate swimming in the beach. All that sand when you get out - yuk! Then onto Rosebud to where my MIL and SIL are staying for a BBQ tea. Thanks for the lovely giveaway. Hugs, Christine
