"Raggedy Anne and Andy Quilt is completed."

Hello,

At approximately 12.30 pm today I put the last stitch into the binding on the Raggedy Anne and Andy quilt.

I used a spotted material for the outside border and binding. I happened to get 2 metres of this Michael Miller fabric at Good Sammy's earlier on in the year for one dollar. It hadn't even been washed. I had no idea what I would use it for but it certainly came in use for this quilt.

I used Cream coloured quilting cotton for the main part of the quilt, Black thread was used in the sashing. For the outside border I quilted hearts in Yellow.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the time hand quilting this quilt. It is amazing how much this quilt has been the topic of conversation here at Kainga over the last couple of weeks. I have a finish for One Project a Month and more importantly it has been ticked of a list I made at the start of the year.

I have joined in Cheryll's Friday Night Sew In which is happening this week. Now I have to plan a new project.

I have my fingers crossed that this post will be right. You see I have used up my limit for my photo storage. I just read some fine print that said if you keep the photo's under a certain amount of pixel you can still post. If it doesn't work out I will have to get out the credit card and re-post this as well.

Happy days.
Bev C

HI Bev,
You quilt is just amazing. Love all the embroidery, quilt blocks and colors your used. A very happy quilt. Your great with colors.
About the photo storage, I have already run out of space and I have started to delete some of my older postings. It was hard to do.
Have a good time at your sew-in and can't wait to see your next project.
