Hello,
I have three things on the go at the moment. I found this rather cute fish fabric in the stash. Isn't it nice and bright.
Doing three things at once certainly keeps you on your toes, or does it just make for three un-finished projects! I hope not.
The crochet doily is about half way finished. Using a size 1.5mm hook and Coats crochet cotton in size 10. The pattern is called Starry Night which is from a Crochet Monthly magazine. The other project I am working on is the stitchery that is underneath everything in the photo. I have incorporated two Block of the Month designs from a few years ago into one project. You know how it is we all get excited about a free Block of the Month from the Internet then it all goes haywire a few months later and we lose interest. This is why I don't join in these anymore.

Goji Berry. |
Thankfully we can say it is now Autumn, though today is going to be 35. With the hot Summer lots of things didn't survive in the garden. The tomatoes did no good at all. I picked some potatoes on Friday that had died down and put these straight into some soup I made that morning. Yesterday I was delighted to see the Goji Berry bush which had flowered was producing some berries. These are very tiny and there seem to be a few more coming on. I haven't eaten any yet so it will be a first for me. I have only eaten these dried from a packet. Apparently they are quite good for you.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Happy days.

You hit it right on. BOMs are so enticing in the beginning. That's why I sometimes just save the patterns to see how it finishes. Sometimes it's just not my thing. I hope you keep up with finishing those projects.
Yup I am so inspired by online projects that I want to join in and make, but in reality there is no way I can keep up and it fizzles out after a while :OP
Your crochet is very sweet, is it for a jug cover?
Who gets to eat the first goji berry?
the bom's are definitely tempting and you have to keep up the momentum I think. Hope you will have 3 lovely finished projects!

Nice little collection off projects.. That fish fabric is very cute. I see another reader talks about chocolate coated berries - hmmm I wonder if that counts as healthy?
HAPPY Autumn Beg. I WILL BE So Happy when Spring Arrives here.. Those berries look very good to eat, hopefully the Bush will produce lots of berries. Hugs Judy
Chocolate with anything is great I think...lol... but berries...yum!
Great projects too... :)
You're just starting into fall while I'm still patiently waiting for spring to arrive! It's terribly cold today (23F with a wind chill of 14F) and it's snowing! LOL
Congratulations on your Goji berry....may there be many more of them. Love the fishy fabric too Bev.
I love fish fabrics. They are always so fun and colorful. It's fun hearing about your gardening, even if everything didn't thrive in the summer heat. I do love Autumn, so I hope you get a nice one.
Lovely bright fabric Bev...love it! Nah, you won't have 3 unfinished projects, I'm sure you will finish them....Gotta agree with you on the free BOM's! How cool your own Goji Berry...I've never had one before. Hope you have a wonderful week xo
Love that fishy fabric! Looks like you have a warm autumn just as we do - it stays warm way into November.
3 things on the go means if you don't feel like one of them, you always have something to work on ... that's my philosophy :)
Lovely projects Bev, the crochet is beautiful and delicate! I'll be interested in what you think of the goji berry, Wendy
