Hello,
Thanks to
Cheryll for hosting Friday Night with Friends tonight.
I worked on my Miss Mary Mack cross stitch in the evening but in the morning I was able to get the backing ready for the scrap quilt. I had a metre of yellow fabric and added some squares to make it big enough. I plan to quilt this one soon.
I recently won a giveaway from
Tracy from Outback Craftaholic. 3 exquisite fat quarters and two lovely buttons and the cutest card which is so tiny. Thanks so much Tracy and congratulations on three years of blogging.
There are currently two international artist's by the name of Phlegm and Hense painting the silo's at Avon Yards. This will take two weeks to do. We went for a quick trip today to see how they were going. It will be interesting to see them when finished.
These will be a wonderful tourist attraction when finished. Will post some more photo's when it is all finished.
Have a great weekend.
Happy days.

I love the artwork on the silos...I've never seen anything like that before.
Some very special treasures in the post there Bev, those buttons look gorgeous. But as for those silos .... WOW they are amazing. Do post again when they are all finished - they are most fascinating. Have a wonderful Easter Bev x0x
lovely mail goodies.
such amazing artwork on an unlikely canvas. stunning.
The backing of your quilt looks so effective. Sometimes I feel it is serendipitous when we don't have quite enough fabric for the backing. Those colourful fabrics at the top and in the middle make it pop! You have got some lovely goodies, lucky gal. My, those silos are incredible...oh to be able to paint like that. It is but a dream.
great way to back a quilt and lovely fabrics to win... how clever is that art work.... I am always amazed at how poeple come up with these ideas...
