Hello,
The tennis is over so I can get back to blogging. I did a little stitching while watching and cheering on the players. First up a Lizzie Kate design which is a freebie on her site.
I made it into a pin pillow, of course I added some Lavender. I used some star buttons Chris sent me ages ago. The little heart button she got for me from Hong Kong this time last year.
This pattern for the Babushka doll I have had kitted up for far too long. It only took a few hours to get done. Also used Chris's buttons from Hong Kong on this little hanger. It is currently hanging on a set of drawers.
The Cucumber growing has/was a success until we had that awfully hot weekend of the fires. Only one of the plants from this punnet that was growing has survived. We had picked a few before this happened. They were so delicious Other seeds that were planted following the moon planting guide have taken off. I am happy to see this working in the garden and look forward to our next 11 days of prolific growth to get out into the garden.
Happy days.

Hi Bev,
What a great looking cucumber. Good to hear that this variety did well for you. I hope to sow some seeds by the end of February, early March. Yes, they have been one favorite treat for us to grow as well.
Lovely pillow and book mark. You are so creative. Enjoy the day and happy gardening.
Blessings
P.S. Lovely your all your photos on your blog header too.
Lovely stitching. Hope the rest of your garden is ok after the terrible heat
Hello Bev, It is nice to see your lovely posting. Your cucumber look so big compared to ours. A very beautiful bookmark and pillow. Your stitching is always great. I hope your garden is able to survive the rest of your summer.. Hugs Judy

Lovely post Bev and love any home grown vegs and fruit.xx
Great stitching. And the tennis was great. Bad luck with the plants - there is only so much they can take in the end.
Welcome back. Love the pin cushion and pretty doll. What a shame about the cucumbers.
Hi Bev - great to have you back blogging. Your pinkeep & your babushkas are just gorgeous - your work is so detailed. Hope the next plantings of cucumbers bring you many produce. Happy week x0x
lovely stitching... I have to admit I didn't get much done with the tennis on.... nice cucumber.... I have a squash plant going and it has struggled terribly with the heat...
Hugz
Cute projects to work on during the tennis matches. We heard about the crazy heat you're having. Stay cool!
