"Eclosion de rose/Blooming rose."

Hello,

Yesterday I put the final few stitches on the large flower of the "Eclosion de rose" cross stitch.

This was a free pattern from the DMC site.

The blooms do look very realistic.

Can't wait to get this one framed.

I had a "happy moment" this morning. I received a lovely rose themed Mother's Day card from Bobbie Lynn.

It is now next to my sewing machine so I can admire it some more, then I will use it as a bookmark for my rose books. Thanks so much Bobbie Lynn it was lovely to receive some mail sent with love.

The olive pickling is an ongoing process at the moment. This lot is from the tree down the front. Had to do a ring around for big containers.

I finally got the hems done on the little premmie dresses which I made last month. They have been posted and received.

Pink Seduction has to be one of the best roses for repeat flowering and the blooms lasting a long time in the vase. These blooms were picked at the beginning of last week and are still going strong.

It was so lovely to stay inside on the weekend and listen to the rain falling. The garden and tanks certainly needed it. Couldn't put a spade into the ground on Friday now it is all lovely and soft.

This week I will be working on another rose themed project. This one is from my pre blogging days. There has been a long wait for this UFO to be finished. Have you got any/many projects hiding in your home?

Happy days.
Bev C

Such a beautiful rose stitchery,Bev...absolutely gorgeous! The little premmie dress look so cute...you've used lovely fabrics for them. That's quite a lot of olives that you bottled up...well worth all that effort :-)

Gosh your rose x-stitch is beautiful Bev, As are the roses from your garden. It always amazes me what a long flowering period you get over there from them. Those little dresses look just like dollies dresses.
