"FNWF"

Hello,

Happy International Women's Day.

Giant Russian  Sunflower.

Sunflowers make me happy. This is what greets you as you walk in the back gate. Took this photo very late in January. It is now drying on the stem.

I joined in Friday Night with Friends on Friday, during the morning I finished a recipe/journal book cover.
Will show the front another time. All I can say at this time that a little bit of recycling was done on the front cover.

Whilst watching the Doctor Blake Mysteries in the evening I did a little bit of stitching on a cross stitch.

Thanks Cheryll for hosting Friday Night with Friends.

Have a great week.

Happy days.
Bev C

What a gorgeous sunflower. I keep meaning to plant some sunflower seeds but just never seem to get around to it. Your cross stitching is coming along nicely.

One couldn't help but walk through your back gate with a smile on one's dial at the sight of that big, happy flower. Aren't Sunflowers the happiest of all. Very cool cross stitch and your journal cover is looking lovely.

That is a really cute cross stitch! I love sunflowers, but mine seldom get very big.

Love the sunflower, can you eat the seeds when they are dry? Or do you keep them to plant next year? Your journal cover is looking lovely as is your cross stitch.

What a beautiful huge sunflower! They are so lovely and it looks amazing when you get a field full of them. Miss Mary has very exciting hair! I presume there is more to the verse yet to be revealed? xx
