"Makes Me Happy" Number 7

Hello,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day. I am so glad we went out the previous Sunday because it was a lot hotter yesterday. 40 degrees plus.We did our watering in the morning then went for a walk. In the afternoon Ian and I had a swim in the pool to cool down. Lucy had to work on both Saturday and Sunday. We stayed inside and watched the cricket and the Winter Olympics on television. I did manage to get some more work done on the cross stitch. Now for this weeks "Makes Me Happy" I have chosen craft magazines. Look what I got last week for less than $20.00. Five magazines and a DVD. I already had one of the Homespun magazines so I passed this onto Mum. I just love reading magazines and have a pile of them around the chair I sit on in the lounge. I rotate them about from my sewing room so I always have something interesting to read and inspire me. No matter if the magazine is and older one they always "Make Me Happy".What makes you Happy today?

Happy Monday

Bev C

I love craft magazines and craft books - I wish the UK had similar craft magazines to Australia as our sewing ones are pretty rubbish - and the painting ones are all fine arty stuff which isn't my cup of tea. You've picked a perfect choice for MMHM (and every other day of the week too lol)

hugs

Yes I saw you had it hot yesterday. We had a lovely 34 and today was 27. I could have it like this everyday.
I went to my sewing group today and that made me happy

I love my magazines too! Have a stack to look through by the couch, if I ever get over there to sit down! :)

I love magazines, too! I never seem to have time for books, but I still sneak in shorter reads, sneak in time for magazines! I save all mine, too.

Hi Bev! I love craft magazines too!! AND I keep them next to my bed, on the coffee table in front of the TV, in my sewing room...ready at a glance, when I get a moment to sit and read them. I love your blog, although I am a bit green with envy as your "too hot" weather sounds like a dream to me! (smiling)
We are out of the single digits here...20 degrees for the high today. And compared to what we have had, that's almost tropical!!!
Bless you Bev...keep cool!

I'm a magazine lover too. I have a few favorites that I also keep around near by. I can not go into the market without passing by the magazine stand.

Over the weekend we had beautiful weather but not hot at all. Just right. It's good so we can dry out a bit. I hope you get some rain there soon.
Have a wonderful day
