"Remembering Monday"

Hello,

Today I will not be doing a "Makes Me Happy Monday" post instead I have called it "Remembering Monday". Today is the 30th Anniversary of my Brother Ian's passing. Ian passed away as a result of a car accident. Ian was in is early 20's. This penguin which belonged to Ian as a child now resides in my sewing room. All my children used to play with Penguin when they were having there bath. I remember my sister Chris being home a few years back and she looked in amongst all that is in the sewing room and said"There is Ian's Penguin." Penguin has been a part of our family unlike my brother Ian. My children never got to meet him. Happy memories today and always.

What a lovely reminder of Ian. I'm glad the penguin has been such a comfort and has helped keep Ian alive to your family. Wonder if Peter's sunflowers will last as long! I'm sure with the green fingers in your family the seeds will be saved to produce over and over. Lovely post, Bev.
